The old adage is certainly true when it comes to cats and their love of any and all boxes. I took these photos while preparing my breakfast this Sunday morning. Cropped to reduce some of the background clutter. Minor attention to golden rule of thirds—and more to what pleased me. Boxes are taking over the house, but as long as the felines are happy…

Lilly in a neighbouring box. The larger box shown (from a queen bed mattress) contains a scratching pad, and sometimes a blanket. In the foreground is Mochi’s favourite toy—she tends to carry it around the house. When I view this post on my phone there’s a moiré effect in front of Lilly’s face from the flyscreen sitting against the wall.
