Long sentence challenge

I was inspired by John Malone to try writing a really long sentence. I hope some of you join me and post them in the comments below.

Here’s mine (191 words and I could have kept going but kinda lost interest):

I’m thankful that I lost my job, because I no longer need to sit in that office day after day, alternately giving people bad news by telephone and staring into space trying to get up the nerve to dial the next victim, who will be blameless, guileless, shocked, sad, rude or angry—maybe all of the above; and of course there are downsides to losing my job, such as having less money, no health insurance, feeling insecure about my housing and transport and food situations—but on the whole I’m much better off: I sleep better, I have less indigestion, I have more time for my family, I can take up a hobby, and I no longer have to commute on a crowded train four hours a day, jammed in between individuals of bad personal hygiene (gum disease, body odour) and forced to listen to their noisy, gossipy speeches about Marlene from Accounts and Peter in Marketing and their pesky kids and the fact that there aren’t enough trains (and seats)—and that the trains that do run are frequently delayed, making them late for their own 9 to 5 nightmares…

I also used prompt 35 from Writer’s Digest: https://www.writersdigest.com/be-inspired/creative-writing-prompts-for-writers (have a character be thankful for something unusual).

  1. Eleven days ago the razor blade took to my neck, not outside like a murderer, but inside like an invisible torturer, I can see the moment when it happened, I sprayed the cheap perfume supposedly lemon myrtle air freshener from Aldi in the bathroom, and droplets in that moment, sucked in by me like a vacuum cleaner invaded my throat scorching it like a fire come a calling when a door is opened to air, and immediately, immediately you see turning the handle was a BAD IDEA, and then you’re left with the burns, only for me inside, and then the coughing, and then no tolerance to the air conditioning, so of course the temperature drops and then everyone looks at you funny because here we are sitting in a freezing cold room when a perfectly reliable form of heating is available, but yay we’re saving you so you can breathe; still I feel bad when I see the boys here rugged up in their puffer jackets, me with my saline water pumping up my nose, and three separate forms of cough medicine, and then the last one at ten days yay works, but then ohhhh, the stomach pain, and wtf consipation, what am I 80?, nooo, but I feel like it, seriously, amost two weeks of coughing, and two doctors, and three cough medications, and three sets of lozenges, and so tired, and whentf is this going to end.
