Long sentence challenge

I was inspired by John Malone to try writing a really long sentence. I hope some of you join me and post them in the comments below.

Here’s mine (191 words and I could have kept going but kinda lost interest):

I’m thankful that I lost my job, because I no longer need to sit in that office day after day, alternately giving people bad news by telephone and staring into space trying to get up the nerve to dial the next victim, who will be blameless, guileless, shocked, sad, rude or angry—maybe all of the above; and of course there are downsides to losing my job, such as having less money, no health insurance, feeling insecure about my housing and transport and food situations—but on the whole I’m much better off: I sleep better, I have less indigestion, I have more time for my family, I can take up a hobby, and I no longer have to commute on a crowded train four hours a day, jammed in between individuals of bad personal hygiene (gum disease, body odour) and forced to listen to their noisy, gossipy speeches about Marlene from Accounts and Peter in Marketing and their pesky kids and the fact that there aren’t enough trains (and seats)—and that the trains that do run are frequently delayed, making them late for their own 9 to 5 nightmares…
