All we want is to winnow
the weevils from the wheat—
and gi’e us some wood to whittle:
willow, wattle—wormwood will do.
Our Welshman Wes
wethers rams in all weathers,
whittles wonky whales,
wails Wordsworth willy-nilly.
Wes’ wanton wife Wren
(wild and warm!)
weaves withy wicker—
woof and warp.
Whacked and walloped I’ll be,
wincing for these wisecracks—
Wren is wonderful witty, but
Wes a wowser.

woof and warp are terms from the ancient art of weaving…the woof threads go one way, the warp the other

That’s very great! Woof and warp sound really interesting. We have ancient art of weaving in different medieval places in my country. We even have weaving expos!

I think so. Persians had a huge role in the evolution of weaving.
