The Absurdly Rich: your September Longette poetry prompt

They say the meek shall inherit the Earth, but I don’t think anyone’s told the Billionaires that. And anyway, they’re busily wrecking the planet for the rest of us, in search of more profit.

[A]ccording to the UBS Billionaire Ambitions Report … [t]he U.S. is now home to nearly a third (31.7%) of the global billionaire population.

Federal Reserve data shows that the richest 10 percent of American households now own over two-thirds of the nation’s total wealth. The top 1 percent holds 31.0 percent of total wealth – just slightly less than the entire bottom 90 percent of U.S. households.

This month, take your best shot at levelling the playing field. What would it take? What do we need to know? Rant and rail, or teach—your choice.
