A small green frog on a large leaf

Symphony in green, by Tyler Pedersen

Amid the hum
of buzzing bees —
the heron’s cry
and whoosh
of wings —
underneath
the airplane’s
drone and
distant car
echoes —
hides a tiny
chorus frog
whose song
resounds —
leading life’s
symphony
in green —
singing
to the
world
please
tread
lightly.
