Amid the hum
of buzzing bees —
the heron’s cry
and whoosh
of wings —
underneath
the airplane’s
drone and
distant car
echoes —
hides a tiny
chorus frog
whose song
resounds —
leading life’s
symphony
in green —
singing
to the
world
please
tread
lightly.Words and photo by Tyler Pedersen, reblogged with permission from The Ancient Eavesdropper

In the photo, next to the frog’s left knee, do you think that’s a frog poop, or a fly that’s next on the menu?

lightly
