The house fell down
while I was outside
Then aliens abducted me
but they were kind
Their ship blew up
right after they teleported me back
I landed safely
but in Antarctica
And when I heroically made it to a research base
the door was locked
I finally got inside, losing only three fingers to frostbite
but there was no food or electricity
When a research team arrived five days later
they told me civilisation had been destroyed by nuclear war
They got the heating going
and shared their food
And we sang, to keep our spirits up
though we’d all die soon
