Soul is electricity
thrumming in street wires,
the magpie’s heartfelt song;
it’s sap, breath, karma,
our xylem and phloem;
the mind’s best swoops.
It’s the chi in tai chi,
what’s beyond the covers of a book
and in between the pages, lines and words.
The meta.
