When antelopes fly and mosquitoes do backstroke —
when the ocean glows pink, the moon’s a luscious purple —
when pears smell of tuna and you can taste stripes —
when cats are eight-legged and elephants spacewalk —
when water runs up from the drain, instead of down —
that’s the day pollies
are held to account.

I think my fave line is: “when water runs up from the drain, instead of down”
The moon wouldn’t be so bad in purple compared to dull grey (sorry, grey fans).
I couldn’t eat pears if they smelt that way… and the only real possibility in your list is for elephants to spacewalk (hey, they sent a dog and ape to space).

But elephants are so BIG

In space, elephants are weightless…! LOL
The real difficulty is convincing them to board a launch module. I mean, it can be done…

lol…I was thinking more of all the care taken to reduce weight down to the bare minimum pre lift-off…but I’m sure Musk has plans for a whole cloned zoo up there

If humans are to live beyond Earth, in space orbit, on the Moon or on Mars, then we sure need our zoo parties and circuses… and why stop there? Bring back prehistoric animals: woolly mammoth, sabre tooth, animate a Jurassic Park, create hybrid chimeras… the future’s endless. Just get that elephant up there first.
