Haiku and Senryu are both 5/7/5 syllable forms, but whereas a haiku is about a season in nature, a senryu is more concerned with human nature and feelings.
snowdust for a lawn,
glowing cabin’s A-frame roof
echos mountain pines
*
yellow eyes, peaked hat
golden face, creamy moustache;
storybook person
*
warm eyes belie you,
cold-hearted lover, ice man;
ride my slopes no more

Thanks Violet…wasn’t sure where that fit in terms of being maybe a senryu…perhaps a haiga as it needs the photo!
