I liked this poem and decided to reshare it. It references both Walt Whitman and William Wordsworth (WW+WW!), two of my old favourites (please read the original pieces at the links behind their names, too—you won’t regret it).

The moments moving ceaselessly
Calling clawing pushing prodding
Drowning in descending demands
“The world is too much with us; late and soon”
Forever failing to find the fleeting fragments of freedom
To liberate our longing from the leash of limitations
