Today, in honour of International Women’s Day, I’m reblogging this piece from the archives. Read and be schooled, men!
HELP!
Girls are not born
weak
but maid.
Gallantry subjugates.
Am I okay?
Do I need help to climb?
Well tell me,
would you ever ask a man?
But ‘help’
around the house;
don’t offer—
Do.
And Never seek applause
for what you do.
