First world problems

I don’t watch the news, cos war is ugly
mass extinction’s unsexy
child labour’s not real.

What’s important to Me
is who wins at Eurovision
whether my wifi’s good enough

if the trains run on time
how many days off I get—
and which brand’s on special.

They’ve stopped selling flushable wipes,
which totally sucks
with my diet.

They’ve made recycling that much harder—
it’s a total chore
an utter bore.

So forget war.
